Thing is I have an MBRP catback on right now. With and h pipe . The h pipe is very bassy in sound . Its drones pretty hard on the highway . However once the car is warm it's not really loud at all to me . And that's the race version as well . I could go louder . And would even like to . I dont like my neighbors LOL . thinking of swapping for an x pipe . And would like the headers if they are louder, dont void warranty , and dont need a tune

AWE Touring: very loud, very bassy, but no drone. Or...Corsa Xtreme: pure racecar, no drone.

MBRP with an X will be a raspy mess, more than it already is.

I have catless ARH now and I'm wanting to add cats. Mostly due to rasp/drone but also maybe a little bit of volume reduction. Was there a noticeable difference with the cats?
Don't have to add cats. I put a Tru x resonator on and the car sounds great. Quieter and a better tone

You could use cat deletes, and just bolt your catted pipes back up when going to the dealer for work.

Cat deletes ? How long would bolting the catted pipes back on take after . Interesting option . What is an example of a cat delete brand ?

Is what you are saying to keep the stock headers and delete the cat and add a straight pipe there ? Theb is going back to dealer just reinstall the cat ?

Would that still be allowed ? Seeing as how they can just accuse you of tampering with it and having a replaceable delete?

100% true as I have it and already commented on its loudness...people also say it "sounds" a bit old school V-8's and it's the best sounding mustang I've ever heard...that has come from retiree's on down to twenty somethings.

Cat deletes require cutting out one of (can't rem if both) cats off of the stock header which would void warranty, which I think OP still has in mind.

Cutting required...void warranty.

Theb is going back to dealer just reinstall the cat ? I believe that is what he is inferring.
Would that still be allowed ? No. Seeing as how they can just accuse you of tampering with it and having a replaceable delete? Exactly....see above
Even if you welded the cat back on, they would see it, warranty voided.
If you don't care about your warranty then ignore everything I said other than that the AWE Touring is LOUD, but sounds awesome.

Very slight, yes. The resonators I added at the time did more for rasp on my Corsa Sport.

Won't work, and would still need a tune even if it did. Seriously man, if you care about warranty, just get a better catback. The MBRP isn't exactly the pinnacle of Coyote sound or volume even.

I have
I used Mak performance cat deletes. They give you flanges to weld onto the drivers side. Passenger bolts right up. Changing them out is about 1hr and a half.

And any welds that arent supposed to be there will void warranty which OP wants to retain.
