I am planning on getting headers soon but can't decide on catted or catless. I live in Florida so don't have to worry about inspections. The only thing holding me back on catless is the smell. Is it bad? I'll only be using 93 for fuel.

I was worried to as I have a Convertible. Must admit after 5 months no regrets going catless. Sometimes at a stop I might smell a bit, but nothing bad. Tampa Fl here

I had cat deletes and yes, you can smell it... It’s not terrible but it’s definitely noticeable

I'll probably end up going catted.

Before the early 70's no cars had catalytic converters. When I smell a catless car it brings back memories. That said if you burn E85 it negates the smell. The smell isn't bad. But when the wind catches it right the smell of unburned hydrocarbons is distinct.
