Catless with all monitors enabled

Hello Everyone

I am trying to conduct some research and I was hoping some of you could help.

My main question is..

is there a way to run catless and still have all monitors enabled ?

Yes I have been reading, and thus far I have found.
Catless = "tune" to disable the the o2 or cat monitor.
Catless = no tune, deal with the CEL. defoulers, etc do not work.

if I am inaccurate please advise.

One trick that I have seen folks use is to weld the 02 sensor to the exhaust where the cat use to be and that keeps the check engine light from coming on. I did not believe it would work but I have seen it myself. Interesting concept.

Sub'd. Catless here with extensions... and a CEL. Thought about welding some cats in but a friend fried two sets of Kook's cats in a couple of months.

From my research aftermarket cats are nearly worthless.....

So, no dice on catless + passing all readiness monitors ? am I correct on this ?

Pretty much at this point without someone turning them off in the tune. I'm putting on the Roush phase 2,next week but the CEL will stay on. That's the life of the canned tune.

CEL. You really need to get a tune with the headers. Contact your header vendor or some of the vendors on this board, Beefcake, Lethal, etc. about setting you up

Have any of you tried O2 spacers? They worked on my 3V when I had the tuner turn the rear sensors back on so I could pass emissions. I'm planning on doing the same for my S550...

on my hemi cars with no cats i would use 2 sparkplug antifoulers with steelwool in between no cels. but those were 07 cars. hey area74 are you area47 from the ls truck forums?

we are also looking for some test subjects, to test a smart simulator that has taken nearly two years to develop. We fixed the BMW N55 when no one else could, I am certain it will work for you....

I used the 90* O2 spacers and never had a CEL and the car would pass emissions.
