it has an engine!
The TT setup will require a dual valve setup as the system will have to be able to close the primary vacuum line under boost and be able to draw vacuum elsewhere. Hence, this is where the Dual valve WOT line comes into play and is required to work properly as the single valve is for normally aspirated and the dual valve is for boosted and is the best way to setup any blower or supercharger that creates pressure in the intake.

This is absolutely normal and we do not make a one size fits like many of the competing brand catch cans that just want to sell units. It's important to make a system that properly evacuates the crankcase and also does the best job for the application.

PM me when you're ready to update and I'll set you up.

Joe
Thanks for your time. I appreciate it and sure will.

Jamie,

I would like to get you set up with the latest upgrades and go over your setups again. PM today and we can get the projects squared away. Some line changes and routing will be required to eliminate the oil and it will have to be routed differently to overcome the heat and vacuum generated by the whipple.

The fix is the most important task without question.

Joe.
Joe I just sent you a PM , I bought the same setup as Jaime.

That should be a good test. Will the new suspension upgrades be on by then?

First Update - Just over 1,000 miles since the installation and 1/2oz was collected. I have to say I'm impressed by the UPR can. Not a drop came out the intake side; the hose was dry and not a drop in the Elite can.

Driving this period was relatively mild. ;) A few passes at Bradenton and PBIR, a good hour long 'spirited' drive through the back country of mexico, and a lot of highway miles.

Ending Mileage:

Inside of out tube, no oil:

Excellent! That is what these tests are for. I would go several thousand miles before the next empty as 1/2 oz is minimal amount to capture. At the rate yours is trapping, I suspect you have excellent seated rings and minimal blow-by. The better the ring seal, the less blow-by, the less oil to ingest.

Run say 3-5k miles before emptying with your low consumption rate. Then swap them.

Good work!!

This was earlier this week, roughly 500 miles since the last drain. 50 miles of HPDE during this time. Output tube was dry, still nothing in the Elite can.

The UPR is doing it's job well.

I'll be changing the oil in the next week or so and will do a drain at that point and then leave it in place until the next change.

Thanks for doing this, Stoli. When you sift out all the hype I cant find anything that looks better than the UPR unit. Just ordered one from Hypermotive! Better late than never I guess.

My UPR can is catching stuff. Mostly condensation from my cooler temps up here in WA. There is clearly oil mixed in though.

3,000 miles later, including a day of hpde and there was still zero oil in the out side of the UPR can.

I've removed the in-line Elite can and gone back to the default setup to see if there is any difference in volume collected. I have two more hpde's coming up in the next two weeks and after that I'll switch to just the Elite can to see how that does.

I should have used a bigger shot glass this time. ;)

say i capped the manifold sides of the ports off and ran both crankcase lines to a single vented catch can. are there side affects to that? plus or minus on n/a and/or boosted applications?
