Great information, post pictures.
I will throw some pics up tomorrow. I invested some time and money in my setup but I’m happy with how easily it swaps in and out which is what I wanted. Getting any one to touch anything cat related where I live is very difficult.

Here is my cat swap set up. Where I put the pen at in the photo is where I had it cut and welded. From where the pen is to the cat is from a 2014 car, from the pen back is from my 2015. I have the same slip on ends on my mak deletes but they are 3 inch OD to 3 inch ID so they slip onto my 3 inch cat back without having to neck down in size at all. I sourced the 2014 parts locally and got both cats and manifolds for $200 which was nice since I didn’t want to cut up the stock cat.

I use them and yes they work. The ones from bigdaddiesgarage are the best.
Those are the ones that I used, and they work fine. Could plug my car in at the inspection station and all monitors are green.

Yes, I am.

And your next question is going to be: "How loud is it?"

Answer: Wake the Phucking Dead LOUD...!!!! But more importantly, the rasp was absolutely ridiculous.

And your next question is going to be: "What should I do about that combo?"

Answer: Get (like others have mentioned) a resonated x-pipe such as the Magnaflow, or what I have; a Borla/Ford Performance resonator in place of the factory resonator.

For me the Borla/FP resonator I have kept most of the volume, but thankfully killed the rasp which was almost unbearable.

A combination of cat-delete's, x-pipe, and Roush A/B's are almost NASCAR loud, and I wouldn't recommend that combination to anyone. I'm not kidding.

Just replace the stock resonator with the magnaflow resonated tru X.
It’s perfect .
This...no cats, straight through mufflers.

I don't but the Magnaflow killed the rasp and drown 100%. The only reason i bought it, was terrible.

Do you have knowledge on if the magnaflow resonated tru x will still keep almost similar volume but will kill the rasp like your borla/ford performance resonator did? I want it to be a tad louder than what it is now but no ear rape after 1.5k LOL.

I can only speak of my combo (in sig below), but more to your question the Borla/FP resonator kept almost ALL the volume at WOT, but killed the rasp.

As I have stated in other similar threads, my combo is VERY, VERY loud at WOT when the engine is under load; however, when I am just cruising along at say, 2K rpm going down the highway, I can still have a normal conversation with someone sitting beside me and I can clearly listen to music; but when you so much as breath on that long, slim pedal on the right-hand side of the footwell, the exhaust note goes immediately from Jekyl to Hyde!

Maybe the best of both worlds?? But I wish it was a tad quieter at WOT.

Maybe I'm getting old...

Same experience here. I was running the 3" Magnaflow Competition Catback with Stainless Works Long Tubes with no cats and the drone and rasp was so terrible it was embarrassing to drive the car. I had the Magnaflow 3" resonated X welded in and it completely killed the drone and rasp. Now it's sounds great low rpms and loud at high rpms. I might have a dyno pull somewhere.
