Yes, that is what I have on my 2016 GT.

However, I used the Borla/FP resonator to replace an SR Performance X-pipe (below) that had previously put on the car that replaced the factory "suitcase" resonator.

https://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-performance-xpipe-1516gt.html?utm_content=Exhaust - Midpipe|SR Performance&T5_Var4=388985&utm_source=google-pla&utm_medium=shopping&T5_Var2=shopping&utm_campaign=AMM+Mustang+Vehicle+Medium&T5_Var3=blue&intl=0&dialogtech=ppc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqdCHxKLO5AIVAh-tBh2ZJgiiEAQYASABEgLNC_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I had to get rid of the x-pipe because, when combined with the Roush A/B's and the cat-delete's (as previously mentioned) the volume and RASP were simply reedonkulas!

The SR Performance x-pipe was physically longer than the Borla/FP resonator, which means the FP resonator couldn't be directly fit in place of the x-pipe.

What I ultimately had to do (and it worked quite well) is to cut some length of tubing off the x-pipe, and clamp it to the end of the resonator to make it exactly the same length the x-pipe had been. I then clamped that combination to the rest of the factory exhaust system backward. And here is what I used to do it.

I have driven my car about 3,000 mile since making this frankenstein system work, and I was under the car recently to make sure everything was secured well, and it still is. Nothing has moved at all.

Granted, if you still have the factory "suitcase" resonator on your car, then the Borla/FP resonator should fit, no problemo.

To anyone who has deleted their cats, has an x/h-pipe and a loud axle-back exhaust system; and the rasp/volume is a bit too much, if not ear splitting/embarrassing; I can't recommend the Borla/FP resonator high enough. Although it may not be inexpensive, it is easy to install with a set of jack and jack-stands, a socket set, and a saw-zall; but more importantly it will transform a car that is obnoxious to drive into the car you look forward to driving again!

I have a Kooks catback for a 2018 GT. I will use the factory manifolds, so I'm not using the Kooks H-pipe. Should I go with the factory resonator or the the FP/Borla M5231M8 or something else? I'm hoping I can get a really deep sound with literally no rasp.
