For those of you who installed a cat back: I loosened the gasket on the stock pipe that connects to the catalytic converter on the left side of the car. It made it easier to remove the stock pipes but now I have a leak from that gasket after I installed my cat back. I'm thinking about welding it because I can't figure out how to stop the leak. Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks in advance.

Slide the cat back off, snug the cat pipe back in place and reinstall the catback. It not allowing the pipes to matt up flush obviously. If your cat back does not slide on fairly easy then the cat back itself may be tweaked.

I'm actually talking about the joint that connect two stock pipes coming from the catalytic converter.

Pretty sure he's talking about the flange from the stock header to the catalytic converter.

This is a pic of the cat delete, but you can still see the flange in question.

Yes that's what I'm talking about. No on headers. I loosened it to make it easier getting the stock exhaust off.
