I know on the 18-23 the helmholtz is built into what looks like a standard muffler. I wonder if they changed that for the 15-17s
This is interesting as well, I did not know they did that.
Mine is a 2016 and the exhaust system was purchased about 2 years ago

I'm leaning that way. Thermal and exhaust pictures from every other exhaust including 18-23 but none for 15-17. From what I see, every other website showing the (what I'm calling old style) old style has it listed as SKU, B909-C909
Thermal lists the 15-17 as B919-919 and the 18-23 as B918-918 so I'm figuring they updated the design? I can't complain. I heard the old style and it was basically a muffler delete, the one I got took my volume from 100% (no cats and straightpiped and sounded like shit) to maybe 30%. It cut the volume by a huge amount and it sounds good, (short clips attached), I'm just curious if they did update the design or if they just sent me the wrong exhaust by mistake. (I wouldn't return it I just gotta clarify with them so i can maintain their lifetime warranty. But lemme know what you I think. I think it sounds good but it's still breaking in. Sound is changing slightly as it breaks in but those clips have probably 600 miles on the system already.

I've only been up to maybe 60-80 for very brief amounts of time (given the highest speedlimit around me is 45). Haven't had it in any highways yet. But no drone inside from what to can tell (and I had DRONE before. To the point I have hearing damage from how loud the straightpipe droned. Screaming to hold a normal convo, it was BAD before). With this even when at higher speeds I could still think and hear myself speak and hold conversation without having to raise my voice at all.
