Hello; You likely will have to get under the car to find the drain outlets for the firewall drain as well as the AC condenser drain. Unfortunately I do not know where you should look.

Water on the Driver's side, with several electrical problems.

I can think of three areas to check, and have included some thread references for those.

Door and window seals. There are the obvious rubber seals for the doors and windows, what you can immediately see and touch. But there are also some stickers in the door jambs, areas one doesn't always notice or think of.

A/C evaporator core vent tube. These can block sometimes, and cause condensation to enter the car. The water hose was attempted. What about running the A/C on max cold on a hot day, to produce the most condensation? The defrost? You could also remove the cabin filter and look for any signals of water leaking.

Battery well drain tube. There's a drain exit, directly underneath the battery. Might be worth lifting the battery access cover and simply looking inside. And checking cables for corrosion, since you're already there. Water accumulating in the battery box can enter the interior.

The heater core is on the RH side of the car, along with the cabin filter box, A/C evaporator core and battery box.

The comment on electronics freaking out...the Body Control Module-A, is on the RH side of the car as well. As you're sitting in the passenger seat, BCM-A is immediately to the right of the right foot. There are door seals in the door jamb, the HVAC and cabin systems and the battery tray above, all in that area. Getting BCM-A wet could wreak all kinds of electrical issues.

For those unfamiliar with BCM-A, it's the primary in-cabin computer and fuse panel. It connects to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (under hood) and BCM-B (trunk), all the interior electronics and electrical modules.

I thought of windshield leaks, around the glass itself. But I'd think the issue would be occurring much more frequently.

If after all that, still nothing seen or repeatable, I'd take note of it and press on. Check carpets every once in a while (including pressing hand to firewall, left and right sides, lifting carpet, etc.). Inspect this. Check that. I keep a simple log book I put notes in, to refresh thoughts and what-ifs if something happens again.

Did you have a windshield replaced? Sometimes the urethane doesn't make a good seal on the glass for a number of reasons. Most glass shops can leak test the glass with an Ultrasonic tester and other techniques.

Unsealed firewall plugs? The Sound Tube's round hole and the large oval rubber cap under the brake booster were both partially sealed on my son's GT. Took care of both issues when we deleted the sound tube, shortly after taking delivery of the car. (Never had the chance to see how much water would have seeped through.)
