Hi all, I am looking to mount a wing on my Gt350 but not interested in drilling into my existing decklid. This leads me to replacement decklids, and I figure why not go Carbon? but after some research it seems the majority of aftermarket parts are VERY hit or miss with quality and support. Namely Anderson which is where I was initially leaning, but the horror stories have turned me away completely.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a carbon fiber decklid that is up to or as close to possible as OEM standard? Anything the seasoned track guys recommend?

Thanks!
Jeff

My guess would be Anderson Composites would be the "best".

Or just get a spare OEM decklid - fit is perfect, you can find them used for pretty cheap, and they're aluminum (they're steel) and really not that heavy in the first place.

The more i read about the carbon replacements, the more I like this idea.

Thought they were steel though, not aluminum. Either way, looking like this is the only real option for peace of mind if running a larger wing

No you're right, they're steel.
