What are the chances 2022 products like the Ford Performance tune, ROUSH CAI, etc become CARB certified later this year? Looks like a lot of products have only been certified up to 2021, is this just due to it taking time to apply for the newer years?

emailed both ford performance and roush and they said it was unknown if it's being worked on or waiting for authorization

EDIT: speak of the devil, just got a response regarding the CARB certification for 2022 MUSTANG ECOBOOST PERF CALIBRATION (M-9603-M4CA):
"I do not have an ETA but it is currently in development. It is coming soon."

Has to do 100% with the new HC trap involved. Probably not going to happen for the 22 and 23 models. Best bet save for a whipple. It already has the carb approval.

At one time FP basically swore they had their tune all set to go for the 2022 models and even gave me a projected release date. Later, after going all ghost on the subject, they simply said they weren’t going to release a 2022 tune after all.

I have an ecoboost so maybe it's different, but yep they told me the 2022 packs aren't set to ship out for a couple months.

Well heck if they told you that recently maybe there’s hope yet for the 2022 V-8s. I’ll call them again soon. I figure the more interest they’re aware of the better chances are.

Sometimes if the product has fine print of "off road use only", it will never be CARB certified.

Not saying the items you referenced have that fine print or fall into that category, but that is another reason why certain products aren't CARB'd.

Ford Performance said that the 2022 ecoboost performance pack will get carb certified soon, so maybe keep bugging them lol
