I had a 2007 speed3, loved that fast little car.I had Alcantara seats in my Mazdaspeed3 which I owned for 7 or 8 years, and they still looked brand new when I sold it.

I still miss mine and kind of regret selling it. Awesome car.I had a 2007 speed3, loved that fast little car.
And they go great with your Dooney.;)Here's a few of mine. I really like it. The Alcantara is nice and grippy, and the dash looks nicer than the spun aluminum finish which looks kind of cheap to me.
With Alcantara wheels you are supposed drive with gloves from what I have read in the past! Or that might have been for suede wrapped wheels....Is Alcantara high maintenance or high wear? Just asking because it seems a lot of folks unload the GT350 Alcantara steering wheels awfully quick...

Awesome pictures! THANK YOU!!! :cheers:Here's a few of mine. I really like it. The Alcantara is nice and grippy, and the dash looks nicer than the spun aluminum finish which looks kind of cheap to me.
Your first two questions require 401a, which is not compatible with the carbon sport package. Kills me. :(Awesome pictures! THANK YOU!!!
Quick questions:
- have you got the heated steering wheel option or is that only subjected to 401A package?
- Is the upper part of the doors cushioned or it is regular as a standard premium trim without 401A?
- Is the lower part of the dash (does pieces that are perpendicular to the dash and cover the sides, for example, below the headlight knob, are just regular plastic or are they also CF?
The part number for the automatic carbon shift knob/handle is JR3Z-7213-EB. The manual part number is FR3Z-7213-D.I wish we could find out the part number for the shift knob and order it.
Looks Good!β¦wish this package was available when I bought my 2016 GT. Excellence. I might try and scoop the door panels.
For now, though, I resorted to aftermarket carbon fiber and bought the car with the OEM premium package with black leather:
Had that in a previous vehicle, and they did indeed treat it as an upgrade. It was no problem. Is Alcantara high maintenance or high wear? Just asking because it seems a lot of folks unload the GT350 Alcantara steering wheels awfully quick...

Looks great, and this is just the interiorHi guys,
I started this thread in the Photo subsection without audience...
Looking to recap a bunch of pictures of the so-called Carbon Sport Interior Package (with Alcantara inserts in seats and doors) in the flesh, as a decition-helper towards does of us thinking to get it insead of other options (as it cannot be combined with fancy premium interior, although in Europe we can spec it without loosing the digital dash (as it is standard here).
Remember: carbon fiber instrument panel and shift knob, ebony leather-wrapped seats with Alcantara detailing, as well as Alcantara door inserts.
Please add your pictures!
Pictures from Europe (thank you Mazman! feel free to add more should you have)
