So a little context
21 GT Vortech V3 91 oct. PB 10.2 @ 139.70

BMR Lock out
BMR Toe Links
BMR Vertical Links
BMR Front/Rear Springs
Drag Pack Front Runners / MT ET Street R 305/45/17
Upgraded Half Shafts

So my launches are absolute butter best 60ft 1.676 absolutely no wheel hop or shake, but as I’m flying down the track and hit about 95+ the car starts shaking as you’d be going down a rocky road or what feels like wheel hop I always stay in it and consistently hit 10.2-10.4 @ 137 - 139 and nothing breaks lol. just curious if anyone has any ideas to eliminate this or suspension mods I should get?

Its the DRs. MTs are horrible these days, they might balance but they arent round. Then you will get the heavy vibrations on the big end.

And to eliminate it, get hoosiers or racemasters. Or Nittos. MTs are junk these days.

Agree with the MT comments.
10.2 at 139+ on 91 octane is impressive! How much boost and timing?

Aren’t you running MT’s? 🤣
I will say my first set had horrible vibration up top and then I switched to drag wheels and got a new set and they have been light years better.

Unfortunately yes. They still hook the best. But man quality has gone down hill.

You think it’s across the board with all their tires or just the street versions? I have the same SS in the rear as you and the street comps in front and have no real complaints this time around… other than I have to much power for the SS.

Ive been through three sets of those same MT ET street SSs over the last two years and they have all been shit. But I keep getting them from that dragracingwheels.com site, so maybe they got a bad batch. Next ones Im getting from someone else like beefcake or something.

What nittos would you recommend? Still some places have NT05rs available or the newer 555rII?

I run NT555 rii for my daily set up 315/35/17 these things hook so good on the street I’ve had 305/45/17 for the drag no problem at 450whp but went with MT Street R instead when I got the supercharger. I personally have nothing against either but i do think the MTs will out perform the Nittos on the strip with higher horsepower if there’s anyone on here running 555r iis on the strip and has 700whp+ I’d love to know your opinion. Side note your trap will be faster with the MT ET Rs

I wish I knew my boost number but I don’t. 3.6 pulley with a 17degre cap of timing due to bad gas, I have to run maddative every time I want to go to the track but this will be fixed when I get my fuel system and 3.33 pulley next week for e85 hoping for atleast 12-13lbs of boost shooting for 850whp

I run the MT SS's on one of my cars (non Mustang) and the tires are quite heavy.
I do enjoy the traction that they provide, both on the street and on the strip.
My shop did complain to me that they were a _itch to balance out.
Maybe take them to another tire shop and see if you tossed a weight or if they didn't get them completely balanced?

I hope this helps!
ENJOY!!!
