Car Shut Off after using Line Lock

Hello there new to mustangs bought a 23 gt 10 speed for a steal. Anywas had some buddies called me out figured perfect time to try line lock for the first time activated line lock that went well. Did a solid burnout in the parking lot for 14 out of the 15 seconds just then I just kind of let off the throttle before the time ended and the car just shut the engine off it still had accessory power it told me to shift into P to turn car back on, shifted to park car turned back on like nothing happened. Anyways my question is what did I do wrong why did the car shut off after using the Line Lock feature? Just trying to learn the car guys any help or advice is appreciated.

When you use the line lock, it's better to roll out of it by hitting the OK button and easing off the throttle. When you let off the gas with the line lock engaged, the wheels stop spinning suddenly and can stall the car out or worse, break parts.

We were leaving work and they were giving me shit saying the car was just loud and I quote "that v8 cant do shit" so I did a very large burnout. They definitely didnt expect that as my reply.
