Car going into limp mode while driving

Not sure if this is where to put this but I do have a stage 2 whipple using their tuning. The past few days while driving, on deceleration, off the throttle the car threw a wrench on the dash and went into limp mode Iam assuming. Car would run like it wasn't firing on all cylinders. I would stop the car, turn ignition off for a minute or so, fire back up and all good. I have recently downloaded and installed the 5th revision tune for the stage 2 from whipple. That was like 3 weeks ago. Drove it a few times but nothing for any extended period of time. Now in the past few days this has happened like four times. Any ideas on what it could be?:shrug: this didn't happen on the other tune. could be totally something else besides the tune though. Something is telling the PCM to go into that mode.

funny you ask...when I plug the flash tool in and hit read DTC's it doesn't show anything.

I would try reloading the latest revision. Maybe something didn't sync right.

Why is knock off?!
Whipple will help you check flash is correct, but consider it may be something else like bad coil pack, plug, connector, air/vacuum leak, mechanical, bad gas, etc.
Strange no code... should be something recoverable.

If you can, when it happens again, don't shut it off until you plug it and check codes. Knock limiting is supposed to be off.
