I've owned my 2018 facelift auto GT for just over a month now. the car has covered 14500 miles and occasionally it fails to start.
I try to start it and all the electrics come on and that's it no ignition, it took me 30 minutes of trying to get it running today before it finally came to life.
Tested the battery good, new plugs and the alternator is working fine.

when this does happen, I get a little battery symbol on the dash, but like I said the battery is all good

Have any off you had his problem before or have any suggestions on what I should check

Thanks in Advance

Itā€™s possible that the battery could be strong enough to turn the motor over but not let the engine fire off. Batteries can be quirky. But, does the car have a tune? If yes Iā€™d look there. Otherwise Iā€™d be looking at the battery.

But thinking about it, Iā€™m applying old school logic to a modern car. Wait a while and someone who knows a lot more about these cars than I do comes along.

I seem to recall someone else recently had an issue with the contacts for the starter button... but I could be conflating multiple posts

If itā€™s the oem battery it could well be that or as @Torched10 said, the starter button. I had that issue but it happen on an older aged car.
