I’ve had good luck with a soft indoor cover that has a fleece lining. It handles light bumps without scuffing the paint. If space is tight, you might also stick a small foam pad on the step edge for extra insurance.

Anyone here try those form‑fitted covers that cling tighter to the body?

I also use a soft, breathable indoor cover and it works great for tight garage spots. It keeps dust off and adds a layer of protection from bumps near the front end.

Same here. Used the OEM cover for a couple three years then saw this one on the Shelby site that I liked more better. Easy peasy 2-minute install and removal and a huge help down here where the ag dust in the air is pretty heavy when the farmers are plowing the fields.
