Bought Accesstuner Race so that I could edit the OTS tune from cobb. Didn't do any major changes, just changed it so what gear I'm in isn't displayed. Uploads to the AccessPort fine but when trying to upload it the car the tune I edited is grayed out. Ive uninstalled AccessTuner Race and Accessport Manager and got the same results. Uninstalled the tuner from my car and reinstalled it with the same results it being grayed out.

Any ideas on what im doing wrong?

I've never heard of this issue before. Maybe Cobb or Alex can chime in?

Me either. I thought it was kinda strange. I did everything I could think of to fix it. I just installed it on my laptop and still the same issue. It's definitely software related

I sent Alex a message to ask him if he'd seen the issue before. He's really knowledgeable with Cobb's software, so maybe he'll know of something to correct the issue.

The ATR software must match the AP serial number you have and it must be for the correct car.

So make sure the tune you start with is for the correct year, model and transmission of your car. You should be able to load the tune to your car if this is the case.

The second step is to make sure the ATR software is built for the exact serial number of your AP. When purchasing the ATR software you were asked to enter the serial number of your AP. If there is a mistake there COBB can rectify it.

Just looked it's missing one digit from the serial number. I didn't think to look at the serial. Must have left a digit off during registering it. Thanks Alex and juben

That was all Alex's doings, lol. I'm glad he made his way over here. He's a great guy and tuner, so I'm super happy that we have him around to contribute! Now, just call Braden in the morning and ask him why he left a number out on your software. [emoji23]

Just sent them an email. I'll forget about it until the evening.

They really are. They're one of the best companies that I've dealt with in regards to customer service. They beat the crap out of SCT, lol. :headbang:
