These push button start cars don’t have an accessory position on the starter switch like the S197, so I’m assuming there is no way to power up to make any adjustments to features using the steering wheel controls and center dash menus without the engine actually running? Adjustments like my color, ambient lighting, picking exhaust note or gauge display prior to starting, etc. If that’s the case it seems pretty short sighted on Ford’s part.
Also there seems to be no way to roll the windows down without the running either. The manual says you can globally roll down all windows from outside the car without the engine running by pressing and holding the unlock button on the remote for 3 seconds. But that doesn’t work on my GT Premium. What am I missing here?
