These push button start cars don’t have an accessory position on the starter switch like the S197, so I’m assuming there is no way to power up to make any adjustments to features using the steering wheel controls and center dash menus without the engine actually running? Adjustments like my color, ambient lighting, picking exhaust note or gauge display prior to starting, etc. If that’s the case it seems pretty short sighted on Ford’s part.

Also there seems to be no way to roll the windows down without the running either. The manual says you can globally roll down all windows from outside the car without the engine running by pressing and holding the unlock button on the remote for 3 seconds. But that doesn’t work on my GT Premium. What am I missing here?

Press the Start button with your foot off of the brake and you'll get Accessory mode.

You can also press the power button for the radio to listen without going into accessory mode :)

It is standard for the new world of keyless cars. :)

Can you black put screen on 17 premium while listing to radio at night on accessory so it doesn't blind you?

Check under settings. Although I thought that is usually on by default.

I think you can go under display settings and turn just the display off or adjust the brightness. But at night it should be in night mode, which renders in a black theme.
