I'm like 100% it's not the wheel bearing because why would this happen after I did suspension upgrade ? lol
Wheel bearings are known to make noise when side loading on the front especially... Silent when turning one way, and noise when turning the other. That was the rabbit hole I went down for several weeks :)

Yes, I finally drove my car up on ramps and followed the pipes all the way down and found the pipes REALLY close in one spot... You could actually see wear on the paint where they touched... My mechanic loosened up the motor mounts and shoved the engine over a smidge and gave them more room. Instantly noise was gone... Pics attached of before and after... Texas speed headers BTW.

Mine sounds just kind of like metal scraping or even like dragging a mechanical pencil across concrete. I'm looking at my back plates and one seem way closer than the other side so I'm going to try to give it more room and see if that was the issue. I figured I'd hear the wheel bearing as well as going straight but louder while turning. Here's a pic of the two different sides. The bad side is the one that's closest to the rotor.

Yeah I looked at that too. I looked and searched for 2 months til I had my friend ride with me and he literally felt it in his feet in the floor board. It was pretty obvious it was coming from right under his feet. Then I got under there and saw how close the headers were. They were soooo close but not touching when sitting still, but i presume when I turned left, it tweaked the chassis just enough for it to barely touch and resonate. It was a jarring, scraping sound that resonated throughout the whole car, and EXTREMELY annoying. I ain't gonna lie, even after I got it fixed I was so over it I traded the car within a few months. It drove me that crazy.

EDIT, I just went and listened to your video like 3 times. Sounds exactly the same. Had flash backs LOL.. :(

Were you able to watch the video? Was it like that ? You may have to turn it up loud cause my exhaust but you can hear it in the video. Imagine me swerving in a road and you'll notice the noise

fuck man i dont want to have to pay more then what i had lol
I feel your pain. I bought both new wheel bearings and replaced, no joy.. But my suspension was stock so I didn't think about that for me... Swapped to a different set of wheels and tires. Had a magneride strut go out not long after that though UGH... Warranty thankfully.

did it happen to you after you lower the car?
Stock suspension.

But it took about 500 miles after the headers to show up. Might be a coincidence in your case you just did suspension work too.

I hope so. I heard the noise in your video and I cringed it brought back memories I didn't want to have LOL... It would be a quick check to look and verify you have plenty of room on the passenger side header against the frame rail. They are extremely tight on a good day, but you only need like 3/8 inch to clear. Also make sure the AC block under the hood isn't touching either, that is another piece that can touch and cause issues.

Don't see any paint rubbing or anything but it is pretty close

Yep... Mine was that close... It needs a bit more room. At least 3/8 inch. There is a little play in the motor mount bolts. That is what my mechanic used, he loosened and got it to shift over a bit then tightented back down really good.

Okay you helped me weigh out all possibilities, ill jack my car tomorrow and test the wheel bearing and then the back plate and if the noise is still persistent ill go to the shop and see if that was the issue lol
