How were the BFG for noise and wear?

FWIW, I'm loving my Continental ExtremeContact DW tires. Ride quality has increased exponentially and traction is insane, but im sure that is also due to the size of the rear tires I am running as well (315)

I went with them for two reasons:

1. The price premium and national backorder of Michelin Pilot Super Sports

and

2. The Conti DW outperformed the Michelin PSS in wet conditions and I figured since the car is my daily driver, all around performance in the summer (dry AND wet) should be top priority.

I also didn't need all season as I am going with a winter tire setup on the stock wheels.

Wear was great. Even with a ton of spirited driving. Noise wasn't unbearable either.

This is what I am concerned with:
1. Cornering/responsiveness performance
2. Straight line performance
3. Wet performance
Everything else doesnt really matter unless its horrible.

Sport Comp-2's

When it comes time to buy new tires, I'm going with BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2's. I had them on my Evo X and they were excellent. The grip was definitely above average as opposed to the MT's which I would rate as average at best when it comes to grip.
How are they in the rain... as in "monsoon" summer afternoon thunderstorms?

Friend still has the original Sport Comps on a GT and really likes them. But it's a garage queen and never sees the rain. Wet handling where I'm at is at the top of the list.

That is all...

 Those are the exact same reasons why I will be getting the Conti DW when I figure out my wheel selection.

I've searched on here and all over the internet. I have narrowed it down to a few tires in my price range. About $800, give or take. I understand I wont get MPSS grip or allroundedness. I am not sure which fits my driving style. I'm more about corners then straight line performance just by a little. 60/40? Itll be a squared set up so tread wear isnt top priority but I'd rather not have a horrible lifespan. Wet driving is probably my 3rd concern after corners and straight line grip. Any feedback is appreciated. I know they're all good tires.
Bridgestone Pole Position S04
Continental ExtremeContact DW
MT Street Comps
Nitto NT555

If anyone has others in the price range they recommend, I'm all ears. The size is 275/35 or 40 r18. Thanks in advance, sorry for the book.
For me:
1. Cornering/responsiveness performance
2. Straight line performance
3. Wet performance
Everything else doesnt really matter unless its horrible.
Alright you ask and you receive brotha, lets start from the top.

Bridgestone S04

275/35/18

Superior in all categories form acceleration to cornering and wet traction.

This is IMO Michelin PSS league .

rated at a 4.5 out of 5

Conti DW

275/35/18

A good tire as well, but the Bridgestone beats it in cornering and steering response by a few points.

They do last longer then the Bridgestone tires however since they have a higher treadlife.

Also specifically made for wet and dry traction driving.

Mickey Thompson Street Comps

Badass bang for the buck, good grip for straight lines, but the bridgestones beat it as well.

Nitto NT555

good tires for price point alot of people do like them.

So the way I rank them is as follows based on what you are looking for

Bridgestone S04
Conti DW
MT & NT555 are tied up IMO

The tires are the easy part, the damn wheel decision is :frusty:. This is for a car I don't even have yet....:headbonk:
thats why im here to help
