Agreed, the Mustang shouldn't have a plate at all of course.

It doesn't when its Sto'd and i've forgotten to put it back on ;)

Edit... I wonder if i can reserve consecutive plates from my dealer. Having "VU17 ABC" on the RS and "VU17 BBC" on the Mustang would be pretty cool. "

It would. Can't think why they wouldn't be able to do that for you if they wanted to. Mine... tho the Stang now has a US-sized plate with surround.

I went to my local dealer for a Mustang fix as it's one month since I ordered mine.. they told me they have cancelled Mustang orders because of the NCAP story this week. I find this so hard to believe, especially when there are so many great cars out there that haven't been tested at all??

Placing an order for a Mustang is up there with the life significant events for some people, well it was for me, and with the long delivery wait you have to sweat over finances, practicality and approval from your nearest and dearest so the NCAP results could easily put a few perspective purchasers over the edge and cause them to cancel orders. :(

No it hasn't gone off topic.. its my fault for writing a first post of thread and raising two significant points.. Mustang orders cancelled and my new RS!!

If you want to get back to the original subject.. hows this..

They also had a customer cancel their Kuga order because they were told that Diesels were dirty!! Beat that!!

As you rightly say, I can imagine having a partner who really didnt want me to get a new Mustang.. this news would give them all the ammunition they need to stop you getting it.:headbonk::headbonk:
