This sounds similar to what people told me back 18 years ago when I said I wanted to buy a manual car. Almost every person was like, ya you will like it for 6 months and then get tired of it. I always told them I wouldn't or most likely would not because I enjoy driving and want one. Bought a stick shift and will do everything I can to always buy a stick shift. Some people are just lazy or just prefer to get from A to B and a stick shift is just work for them. Nothing wrong with automatics, some cars I like only come that way, but if I have an option to buy a stick over an auto I will always but the stick. After wanting a mustang from a young age, when it came time to buy one I specifically learned how to drive stick since everyone says its better for these cars.
Unpopular opinion but personally I just didn't like it. I found it more of a pain in the ass than anything. I guess I'm too lazy to find it enjoyable lol. Auto for me
