Does anyone know if the Ngauge can remove a mil light?

I’m looking at cat delete midpipes and read that an O2 code could be set. I also read O2 simulators won’t work on mustangs after 2004.

I emailed Lund and cannot get a straight answer.

Thanks.

You can clear mil codes with the ngauge but if you get cat deletes you will need a tune to get rid of the mil. Otherwise it will just keep coming back.

Thanks. I have a Lund Flex tune and E85r tune. Will those clear the mil code?

If you got tuned with cats on, you will need a new tune without the cats and that will turn off the mil. Also depends if the tuner will turn the rear o2s off. If not you will be in the same boat.

Lund told me I would be fine if I do cat delete. I am not sure I know what to believe. I’m having difficulty communicating with Lund. My Ngauge used to show Alch percentage. It doesn’t now. Lund said it is not supposed to. Losing confidence in Lund.

If he stated you will be fine, he probably already tuned your car with the rear o2s off. I don’t know about the alch percentage issue though.

Is your flex or e85r tune the one currently loaded?

This is likely but I'd request confirmation this was the case.

Alch % only shows up if your on a FLEX tune. The E85R tune will NOT show the pid for Alch %.

You won't get a MIL for the deletes. Lund is not going to put in writing it is disabled, so you got the "safest" answer they can give.

I’m on the E85r tune. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Alex or Alejandro Flores who speaks for Lund, on video showing how the Ngauge works. He is filling the tank with E85 while in Flex tune. When he gets to 84 percent he switches to the E85R tune. I can’t get the Alch percentage to show on my Ngauge under either tune. It used to be there. Lund has told me to delete the tunes and update firmware on the Ngauge. I’ll do this tomorrow.

Do a rescan as well.

I went through this a couple of weeks ago. As said, the R tune will not show ALCH%. My problem was the ALCH_LEARN was not showing and a rescan fixed that. On the rescan there are multiple choices and I originally selected the first one that seemed correct but only had 54 PID's and ALCH_LEARN was not one of them. Scrolled down and one of them has over 100 and everything was there.
