I guess for me since colored calipers basically exist because of the Brembo thing they should all be red.

Apologies if real Brembos come in something other than red-I’ve never seen any others.
My 350z GT came with gold Brembos

I just wish the rear brakes were as nice as the front on mine.

I agree with you. Have been debating to paint mine but i think original looks discrete with the combination of wheels i have at the moment.

What i see weird is that the rear doesn't come with the same color. For sure will paint them to match the OEM Charcoal color.

Actually front and rear PP1 brakes have the same anodizing. The backs just didn't turn out as rich as the front.

That anodizing makes a great substrate for caliper paint. Do not remove it to metal when refinishing.
