I really want to see what the white paint looks like on the DIB s550.

Still procrastinating...

Red, yellow, Orange

1- red to typical
2- orange gets my attention but to risky
3- Yellow....

Any pictures with G2 yellow... I have heard that is a little more light than expected.
How to you feel about the final result using the G2 kit?

Think will stay safe and go red after all... unless a see a good Yellow G2

Thanks

I debated for months, went back and forth, then caved in and did red because I couldn't decide lol

Same with me. Wanted to do a gold color of some sort and just couldn't pull the trigger.

The bright red powder will pop nicely though and go with the black/red Howler badges I have.

In my picture above, I have painted mine with the G2 kit - the paint is not to hard to work with, as long as you get it mostly smooth when you paint it on the finish levels out when it cures and brush marks disappear. Its not real forgiving with how it sets - so you need to work fairly quick. I would have all four wheels off the ground and everything masked and ready to go first.

I did 2 at a time and the paint was starting to set.

I ordered a second kit so I can touch up a few spots and do another coat (I banged up a caliper when adjusting suspension - but this stuff is pretty tough I was just too rough, doah!) I didnt quite get all of the back on my fronts also.

My .02 for you.

I can't seem to make up my mind on in what color to paint the calipers on a black car, black wheels and stealth theme in mind...

If I go lime green like Ive seen in other threads I won't be able to resist to add other accents in that color (I do like it though), same with red... then I would color my stitches etc... anyway both loosing the stealth look I'm aiming for.

I'm wondering if anyone tried or seen them in gloss black like the wheels? Thx

Go with a dark gray/silver. If you're getting them professionally done, getting them color matched to Magnetic would look sick. The dark color with the metallic fleck would pop on a dark, non-metallic body paint car.

I think the G2 red looks really good on blue cars. The pop is just nasty.
Here are mine that I did a couple of weeks ago.

I can have them in any color I want, got a quote from 150€ to get them done by my dealer, they will take em off, clean, prep & spray. Most likely a refill of the brake-fluid is needed though, but that's alright. I guess I will try some Photoshop's first ;)
