Anyone have any experience with a stage 3 calimer TR3160? I have a 2023 Mach 1 twin turbo making ~1000whp on 15lbs of boost. I’m on a stock motor and stock transmission with a ceremetallic Mantic clutch. I want to start thinking of getting work done on my transmission but I want to know if anyone here has any first hand experience with a stage 3 rebuild at the ~1000whp level.

Check trackmustangsonline for the good, bad and ugly info. on calimer builds. I researched there when I was considering and decided to do my own.

How long have you been running at that power level with your setup? What fuel system do you have and who was your tuner?

I just got the set up so I have about 1000 miles. So I have a triple pump set up and it’s tuned by Lund.

Do they upgrade third gear? Most guys go T56 at that power level

I should have added more details on my original post so I have an Aldowelds TT kit on a stock motor/transmission. I have a Mantic clutch, snow performance triple fuel pump, carbon fiber driveshaft, and it’s tuned by Lund . I have about 1000 miles on the build so far, I’ve just been driving it on wastegates which makes about 720whp. My intention isn’t to be driving the car extremely hard, my highest setting is 1050whp but I don’t plan on running it on that setting until I decide the built motor route. My question is if there’s anyone here in this forum that runs similar power with a built TR3160. Highest setting I feel comfortable running at this state is ~900whp. But yea like I said it’s just to do the occasional pull here and there , but I know all it takes is one pull for the stock transmission to go bye bye lol. I prefer to stay with the TR3160 because I already spent money on the driveshaft and clutch-_- which is why I wouldn’t really like to go the t56 route just yet.
