There is benefit is we are leaving something on the table

In general, that isn't the case

If we are optimizing for fuel, timing, and cam timing, etc. The goal is to maximize power

The car also has adaptive learning and the ability to add our delete timing based on fuel quality

Not to say it isn't a learning process, that new things aren't learned,

Just as with the coyote for the last 4 years, the tunes are always evolving, and those changes are added to all tune updates, that comes from things learned in house with testing

End users are always getting the best Lund has to offer at that time.

There can always be tweaking to say shift points and things like that based on tire height, gear. This things are learned on the street or track

That's why street logging is nice, gives it to you as real world as it gets

And we're happy to review any logs free of charge and na updates are free as well

Question about the bolded above...are you talking about 87 vs 93oct or are you talking about say Shell 93 vs Exxon 93?

Does altitude come into play when tuning? Or does the ecu completely adjust for it?

How can you be sure you aren't leaving much on the table? Given that different brands of the same mod may perform differently - and then throw multiple mods and all the combinations that brings into the mix...

I dont know what parameters the SCT can data log but from my experience with past remote tuners they ask where you live to get altitude that way.

Either or.

Here I am saying it again. Listen to this man.

Lund, livernois both good for mail order (they can email tweaked tunes based on your street datalogs) Justin at vmp near Orlando is good. Steeda is good.

Thats what the maf is for

Ford doesn't ask you what altitude you live at and send you a new tune

As far as setting what's left on the table. Lots of testing, lots of logging

These engines have been out for four years. Lund has a very good handle on them at this point

Again, your welcome to submit a data log of the car for review

Mail order tunes and etunes do work very well. I have had multiple tunes like this. The most important thing is to go with a reputable tuner. I didn't one time and the tuner melted one of my pistions on the dyno.

Exactly. You can do a bad tune mail order or on a dyno. The person writing the tune is what matters

The only reason I probably go local is because I have no idea how to install the CAI and the tune.
Does an cat back exhaust install require a tune?

Catback does not require a tune and if you can follow instructions you can install an intake and if you can tie your shoes you can install a tune.

Livernois does not datalog. But will update your tune if you put on some new parts.

WMS is very well know to the Mustang world. We only do Custom Tunes. Check us out on Youtube, we still hold the record for our 2011 Mustang GT over 3 years later.
