I would welcome some advice on getting an E85 tune on my 2015 GT.
I like the idea of flexibility and being able to burn less expensive fuel, I am aware that I lose mileage, just not sure how much.
Is it easy to just switch from one fuel to the other?
Does anyone know the price difference to make it comprable to 87 or 93? I had a flex fuel Avalanche truck and it had to be about $0.30 less to get the same cost effectiveness.

Lastly, any recommendations on which tune to use, I don't mind spending a little more money if something is worth it.

Roughly I think E85 would result in 30% more fuel consumption. Assuming you get 20MPG average, you'd lose about 6MPG. Probably less if you get a flex fuel tune that will allow you to choose how much of 93 or E85 you want in the tank. I'm just guessing here, no science involved.

Not sure what the difference in 93 vs E85 is where you live, but where I live E85 is like $2.00-$2.20 and 93 is about $3.80. Though E85 does provide you with a nice safety net for knock prevention should you consider future mods such as headers, or a power adder.

I went from about 14.5 mpg (all city) to around 11-11.5 on flex fuel. Latest tank is at 12 as it's about 50% ethanol. Worth it, as E85 here is $2.16 and 93 is over $3.60.
