Well after many months I finally found what I want at MSRP helps that I am relocating to the south from california. Problem Is I have a 1le on order but i can cancel it before TPW.

why buy a car for 20k extra? if I can get the same performance with the 1le for 43k? I haven't driven the shelby so explain?

Will I not want to daily drive the shelby ? because of its rarity?vs the 1le is more under the radar... Pros and cons

I know the shelby is more at 60k but values haven't dropped in 3 years

I understand but sometimes it's hard if you can't even get near one

The 1LE is a great value. If you don't already understand from your research the allure of the 5.2 FPC and the dynamics that favor the GT350 in a small way, then you will likely not value the car for the extra 20k. Get a drive in one otherwise conversation is useless. If you are looking for outright performance for the dollar you can get a Grand Sport that will blow them both away for about the same money money as the Mustang.

I drove the Grand Sport and the Camaro and they seem a bit less engaging to drive but are great cars. I'm buying the GT350 (already had one, but sold it to upgrade to trans cooler on the 17).

Ps - with that opening, I hope you are not a troll :)

Engine sound, linear pull up to redline, dual personality (comfortable cruiser and capable track performer) are the main draws for me. Plus it has rear seats for the kids and you could see out of it :D

For the money the 1LE is a strong performer.

I daily drive mine and take it almost everywhere, but I don't think I would park it in a mall parking lot all day long.
But I gotta say, wherever I take it, the GT350 gets respect, by everyone.

I daily drove mine and plan to with new one. It looks like an normal mustang to most people. I wouldn't worry about theft that much unless you lie in a higher crime area anyway.

Who knows but I would bet depreciation would be lower as a percentage on GT350 but it costs a lot more.

Two different cars despite their performance being very similar. If you are simply looking for bang for the buck you cant beat the 1LE (or even a stripper vette GS).

If you are looking for a little more...ie engine tone and rev characteristics, visceral experience, etc then its a different story. Hard to put a dollar sign on it but for me it was an easy choice.

There are a few GT350 at Carmax in your area. Go test drive one,
then you can make a better decision.
