After being in Dearborn for the week with their great roads I’ve got the gap.Worse on the right side.
It looks like the bumper cover has moved back as well as down.I looked up the parts in the fix kit.
List over $600.00 just not happening and I refuse to leave the car at a dealer.
I’ll be pulling it apart and finding the cause.

I have a GT Premium 2021 that was purchased new from a Ford Dealer end of October 2021. It has 2,400 miles on it and today I saw what looked like someone hit the left rear bumber panel. No dents, no scratches so I googled to see if it is an issue. It lead my to this site/forum.

It looks like it was mostly on GT 350's 2015-2018 from what I can tell according the the Ford TSB dated March 29, 2018.

Mine is really bad, separating to the point tabs can be seen (picture attached).

Has anyone had theirs repaired by a Ford Dealer under warranty and did it fix the problem and last?

Some time ago, I installed the Archtype BiRDS brackets. IMHO, they may mitigate future down force pulling that makes the gap worse, but dont expect them to make your existing gap better.

I read through the TSB and I am not interested in going at the car with scissors and a rivet gun.

This weekend I decided to take the bumper apart to inspect the brackets. To my surprise, I found that the right side of the bumper wasn't threaded by the tail light, and the bolt was just free spinning (2nd photo).

I used a M5x0.8 thread insert, everything is holding well, and the bumper sag is now better, but not perfect.

Note: The front and rear bumper retaining brackets s have little v-shaped metal clips inside. You can push a flat head screwdriver under them to make them "grab" again.
