Hey all,
Planning on putting a Wengerd tune on my '22 GT. He suggested adding a Bullitt TB. My question is there an adapter available to allow me to use the stock cold air intake or must I also replace the entire cold air intake? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I did a search and didn't see a definitive answer.

Thanks MAGS1. Planning on buying them both for my stock intake. Hoping there is an adapter for that intake tube.

I am curious if that throttle body will work with your stock airbox, keep us posted.

JLT makes a Bullitt / Mach 1 cold air intake.

Thanks Autopart101, definitely an option if I can't find a way to make the stock CAI work

Has there been any proof that a larger TB noticeably improves performance? The Ford Performance tune kit includes a larger TB, but many people think it's not even worth the extra cost and that Ford was throwing in unused skus to charge more and dump old parts or help comply with supplier contracts which often have minimum order quantities (TB, CAI).

If Wengerd recommended the TB, they should be able to tell you which parts you'll need.

Over here they do the same, JLT + 87 mm TB + GT manifold, even on some Mach1/Bullitt.

Yes, thanks, what I'm trying to determine is if there is a way to keep the stock GT CAI. I fully understand there are many very good alternatives. Thanks again

The claim is, that the stock intake is too restrictive.
Some even claim, JLT is better than GT350/Bullitt/Mach1 OEM intake.
If you want to go for a larger TB, you should not stick with the OEM intake, do both or non.

Well that's very different, I had not heard that about the stock intake. Thanks for the info.
