Installed the New Steeda Pro Action shocks and struts with Steeda rear shock mounts and Camber Plates. 3 hours from wheels off to wheels on.

Used a digital level gauge on the rotors to set camber. I measured the angle before disassembly, then set the camber to the same # once new struts were installed. No issues, but still need to get to the dealer for an alignment and camber set.

Impressions are about the same ride quality, maybe a touch softer and smoother, but less Porpoising (pitching front to rear) much lighter steering effort and the car is a bit better planted. I'm sure this will change with alignment, but the lighter steering surprised me.

Will put the stock springs back on the stock struts, clean up and leave in a box for posterity. I had a shop install the Steeda Springs last year as I wasn't comfortable installing the rear springs and hate struts. I should have known better, was a waste of $$, and the goobers didn't cut the bump stops, so I was likely hitting the bump stops all the time with the Steeda Sport Springs.... At least now I have have true camber plates, and the upper shock mount with the Proactive shocks and Sport springs.....

I'll be offering up a set of Steeda Sport Springs once I get the springs swapped out on the OEM Strut. The Fronts will come off the OEM struts with 4K miles, and the rears will be new as they came with the prebuilt set I just bought.

The Tires look great with decent wear at 14K miles

**A few side notes.
1. Make sure you install the sway bar links before reconnecting the Calipers. The brake line is in the way.
2. I had a good opportunity to check suspension articulation, and the concerns about reclocking the control arm or link bushings when running dropped springs are unmerited. With springs and struts out, there is no binding in full articulation.
3. The Steeda Struts/shocks say "Made In Holland" anyone know where they source them from? SAF? Koni? Intrax? I know they are made to 'spec' for Steeda, but it would be interesting to know where they are sourced.

Next up is the shifter mount and trans/rear diff oil change. Will do when I change oil next.

Front tire, was pleasantly surprised to find even wear.

Rear Tire looked good as well, expect to get 25-30k miles, but we will see.

Strut in the car. The Steeda Camber Plates are nice pieces....

I like it! Is your car a non magneride Bullitt, or are the new suspension components equipped with magneride?

True. When I put a tune on my car, I lost the Bullitt rumble. Didn't take long to revert it back to stock for me.
My 2nd hand Bullitt came with the Steeda tune. If feel like Goldilocks going back and forth between stock and tune. lol I heard there’s tune variation from Tuning by James, who created the original Steeda tune that would bring back the noise. Working on trying to get it and then it’ll be perfect.

Thing is I didn't notice any improvement in performance ... certainly not like on my 2016 when I had it.

Did you?

With the Steeda tune on 91 gas, it’s definitely noticeable. Power is more linear as there’s more power felt under 4k rpm and throttle is more responsive even in Normal mode. Since you already bought it, you should try it for yourself since it’s easy to switch back and forth.

Still one my least favorite cars to wash and wax, I am dedicated to keeping my Bullitt in top form. 2 years and 14K miles, even with the occasional car wash the paint has held up well. I've been using the Mequiars ceramic/hybrid wax with spray ceramic detailing. Paint is swirl free, though there were some hard water marks etc. I used the Groits 3 in 1 cleaner wax to clean things up, then topcoated with their show gloss carnauba. Will use their spray quick detail and show wax to keep up over this year and track the difference.

Too may sharp edges and creases for my liking, but I do love the car and am more than happy with the bang for the buck, performance, comfort and utility the S550 Bullitt brings to the table. If the car doesn't clean up as it has over the last 2 years will go back to the ceramic coatings.

I love Black!!… I have Ceramic Coated 5 or 6 cars now… it does take some time but the shine is indeed like no other!! Instead of doing all the steps you mention here…. I pop a beer, turn on the toons and simly dust it or use my Elixr !!

So far on my 2019 Bullitt I have installed the following-

The Ford Performance Magneride handling pack upgrade- Amazing! cannot suggest enough I loved this mode
The Ford Performance short shifter kit- Kept it on for about a week and went back to stock. The amount of gear whine inside the cabin was obnoxious. It almost sounded like a supercharger lol
Finally, the Ford Performance X-Pipe- Holy crap does this liven the sound of the car up. Be warned it turns your normal mode to almost track mode stock and your track mode to "pull me over"

I love the mods I kept on the car so far!

I would love for Ford to come out with a tune for this car that keeps the "lobey" idle and pops during shifts

I went direct to James for my tune. I asked for the burbles to remain. He seemed like it's more of a gimmick to have the pops but he gave me two versions; one with and one without. Performance is the same between the two. I do notice more pops in Sport and Track modes and also quicker throttle response in Sport and Track mode. I think the performance variations in the various modes approximates the "feel" of something along the lines of a Pedal Commander.

Has anyone here had or heard a Bullitt with an X or H pipe vs a borla switchfire? I know everyone says the switchfire sounds amazing, just wonder if it's really that different than a X or H pipe.

I found this video of a a Bullitt with a Borla switchfire and I think it sounds great! To me, it sounds very close to LTHs on a Coyote. If I had known about the switchfire before I spent $3K on the exhaust setup for my Bullitt, I would have definitely gone this route and saved myself lots of money and time on the install.
