Hello everyone,

Just picked up my 2019 Bullitt in shadow black and am completely in love with the car. I am looking to do some minor mods and wanted to get some opinions and recommendations. I definitely want to install lowering springs however I have the magneride suspension so I’m not sure what kind or brand would be best. I would also like to install a mid-pipe but again I’m not sure what brand to go with either. Just want to see what people recommend doing to really maximize the cars performance without voiding the warranty of course!

Oil catch can, Airaid air filter and jacking rails.

For springs get the Ford Performance, Steeda or BMR ones. I have the Ford Perf ones sitting in the garage now, planning to get them installed when I get my first oil change. Bit stiffer ride, better handling and 0.75in drop.

Mid-pipe is all about sound preference. I prefer H-pipe as it's a deeper sound.

Any brand recommendations for the oil catch can, air filter and jacking rails?

Personally I went with Ford Performance for the catch can and air filter, Steeda for the rails, BMR also makes great rails. I also went with Ford performance for the hood struts.

I just like the ability to go back to my dealer if there is a problem.

I have the M—5300—W FP springs on my 18 with Magneride, JLT 3.0 catch-can, BMR low profile jacking rails I have had the Redline Hud Strut Kit but the alignment of the hood did get thrown off so I removed them. I also have Steedas H-pipe installed.

I would also consider a cradle lockout kit such as BMR CB005.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I don’t have a bullet, but I have magride and love my steeda springs, I had no problem with the steeda X or H pipe as I bought both to see what I liked more.. H with the OEM active exhaust and X with the Magnaflow, I now switch between the Magnaflow resonated X pipe and the Steeda X pipe 15 min job once the cars in the air. Also I think the UPR catch can is a much better piece then the jlt.

For me the best sounding everyday setup I was driving on before the Magnaflow was the Texas speed LTH, Steeda H-pipe and oem active exhaust. The X-pipe sounds awesome over 4K, nothing comes close to that, but the god-awful rasp during regular driving was, for me at least, embarrassing. Trying to stay in quiet mode for any reason seem to make it worse. That’s when the H-pipe came in and I loved it. I lost a little of that exotic rasp up top over 4K that sounds sooooo sexy, but I didn’t have anymore low end, everyday driving rasp. It sounded “NASCAR-ish” up top some friends told me.

Without the headers I liked the X-pipe and stock active exhaust, I never drove with the H-pipe in that setup. I have some start ups with each I need to transfer to YT. But don’t have any cruising or cabin video. I can take one now as I just put the X-pipe on for a little bit 2 days ago. I love how I can swap between the resonated and Steeda Xpipe in about 15 mins after some exhaust shop modifications to the Steeda pipe

TL;DR I think the H-pipe is the “classic bullet” sound. But a Xpipe sounds awesome 4K and up.

I have this separator:

https://www.americanmuscle.com/jlt-...VkNdkCh24ngobEAQYASABEgIrNfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Some don't like it because it isn't supported/bolted in, but I don't see any issues (has to be routed around some wiring). I live in CA, so have to swap it out for dealer service, smog checks, etc.--takes all of 2 minutes. It's well made.

BTW, I'm getting about a teaspoon of oil in it every 1K miles or so.
