Finally installed the rear 1/4 window louvers. These are the Ford Louvers painted in Shadow Black. I like the look, and IMO, Ford should have made them standard on the Bullitt, as Frank had them ;-)

The kit comes with a window blackout, but I didn't use it, just spray painted the backside of the units black. Very nice finish and high quality look. I especially like the faux 'vents' in the louvers.

looks great! almost identical to the hurst ones i put on, Also for those interested i swapped out to the ford racing springs on mine and it dropped the car just enough for the wheels to fill out the well. Ride is near identical, no scrapping on curbs or speed humps either.

I put the hurst ones as well and found they wouldnā€™t stick right and I had to stack tape with them. Did you go through this as well?

Also could you post a pic of your car with those aftermarket springs?

oh yeah! the 3M was coming off almost immediately afterwards. I ended up using Gorilla construction adhesive on it. at this point its a permanent fixture and no way in hell going to come off lol.

@Bulldog9, those aluminum spacers are what is known as Steedaā€˜s subframe support bushing kit. I have them too and they fit great.

Here is a video showing what is happening without them Installed. Get yourself a set, you wonā€™t be disappointed.

The billet pieces are the Steeda
BMR braces
Thanks. I have the Steeda Rear IRS suspension braces but not the bushing kit. How involved is the Bushing kit install and how has it effected NVH?

Itā€™s not a bad install at all. Steeda provides very detailed instructions on the install. Go to their website, click on the kit and scroll down to the instructions and have a look at what it entails. I would say the level of difficulty is about a 2.5 out of a 5 beard install. If you do this mod, I suggest installing their subframe alignment kit too (also a super easy install).

NVH on my car is about a 3 out of 10 and I have a lot of suspension modifications such as, motor mounts, transmission bushing insert, spherical RLCA bearing, billet vertical links with delrin bushings, differential support bracket, differential bushings (black ones) with through bolt kit, Tri-ax race shifter and subframe alignment kit.
