Thank you. I'm going to look into them. Not using spacers so I can't help. As you are in FL, may I suggest asking either John or Rod @ Steeda ? They have been quite helpful with my build. Rod is over the install and tuning center in FL. In fact, in the fall, I'm bringing the "Spirit of Skunk Hollow" to FL for the s/c install. As it will take two days, I'll rent a car and drive to the keys. That is the missing link to my 4 corners tour of the US. I will also have the honor of having driven both ends of US 1.
Nice! If you do end up purchasing them this is the tape layout I found you need to use with the bullitt to get the perfect fitment. I stacked 4 on the top 2, 2 on the bottom 2, and 3 on the two side ones.

Calling someone a fanboy is rather childish on your part.
Really? The guy who said I was 'denigrating' Borla for saying their pipe has LESS ground clearance than the stock one, which is an absolute fact? I never said it'd drag or anything; just that it had less ground clearance. So the one who needs to 'chill out' is you, but since it's obvious you have no intention of doing that because you have an issue with facts you don't like, I'm ignoring you right after this, so I don't have to read your crap anymore. And I suggest you do the same, for the benefit of the forum.

Hey gang, just found this awesome mod on Tony's forum, on a totally unrelated thread (winter tires):

https://imgur.com/gnlx1eb

I asked him for details; hopefully he'll post them soon. That's what I had in mind: Keep 'BULLITT' in the rear, but in a more elegant and subdued way than the current 'dog plate'. Ha ha. If somebody has done something similar, please post it. Maybe the letters could be a tad larger, but they still look better than factory IMO. Not sure yet if I'd change it, but just wanted to share this guy's idea (photo is from his site) with more Bullitt owners :).

Note sure why you would do all this to a Bullitt rather than a regular GT???

Thanks, I also like the red coyote badge on the grill. I have a red/black color scheme so that give me an idea. Since our bullitts aren't the traditional green mind as well make them our own.

TJ
TJ ...I have most of these mods now. Am installing the G Track cross brace....does the McQueen have the cross brace and the K brace?? Or just the K ? Also finally installing my Steeda adj sway bar end links! I installed your springs, lowered it 3/4”... you said to add 1/2” to the length of my front links to bring it back to a more neutral position.... Correct??? .. the rear is the same as factory...did you do this to the McQueen Edition???

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been covered many times before but what is the general consensus on lowering springs and their potential detriment to the lifespan of stocks shocks? I'm referring particularly to Steeda's products, namely their available Magneride lowering spring offerings (probably the cheaper versions that lower the ride height more).

I honestly couldn't be happier with the way the Bullitt suspension performs out of the box (especially w/ Magneride) but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love the way S550's look when they're lowered slightly, and even with wheel spacers (something I normally wouldn't even consider doing to my own car).

I just unexpectedly came into some Steeda rear sub-frame stiffeners and I got to thinking that maybe I would take the opportunity to do a light once over on the suspension by completing Steeda's hop kit and adding springs and sway bars. My hesitancy stems from how much I enjoy the stock suspension performance and a desire to not mess up the beautiful work that Ford did, but I know that Steeda has a very solid reputation and makes a high quality product.

What would you guys do?

Thanks.
