Whelp I finalizing on the car. Everything looks great alignment wise. However it would appear it was damaged between 4/13 and 5/19. Buffed most of it out, not much else to do here. I was told the only thing that Ford could offer was a new front bumper, which is worse.
If you can, post a better picture, it's hard to tell where that is exactly. However those look like some deep scratches. Without knowing more I would say take the new bumper cover and don't have them fix this one.
I got tint last week, and did the Diode dynamics LED's. I still can't get around really well. Hoping to get it washed, clayed and waxed in the next week or so.
Loving mine still. I just hit 1400 miles and either I am starting to be more comfortable in the most powerful car I have ever driven or she is finally starting to "break in" but needless to say the last few days have been pretty fun as I'm starting to push the revs a little more everyday.
Did my first "mod" wednesday night by removing the dealer tag on the back, man was that adhesive a PITA.
I didn't think i would like the red tail light but they're really starting to grow on me. I think i will still be ordering the blacked out tints for them soon, I just hope it doesn't cause a problem with local police.
Map lights from DD are a must this will be something I would like to add in the near future as well.
For the time being I have just been trying to perfect the art of detailing and keeping her nice and shiny. After ~$200 on chemical guys site I have been able to find some awesome products to keep her in nice condition however it is hard with it raining every day down here in SW Florida and no garage and parking outside at work :/
I know theres big threads on these but between our group, any fun stories of people breaking necks, compliments from strangers, or any cars trying to "see what you got"?
I was on my way to work last Sunday and while stopped at a light there was a econo van next to me. I could feel eyes on me and figured it was a group of kids in the car that were looking over. I turned my head and all i saw was 6 grown men with their eyes glued to the window peeling down at the car. Their were covered with tattoos on every inch of skin that was visible and to much of my surprise, it was a group of inmates in their orange suits on their way to community work or something. Being the Gone in Sixty Seconds fan that I am, I flipped that Sport+ on and got outta there as soon as the light turned green, not wanting to be the next Eleanor.
