Build Week 3/30

That's the first I've heard about a 3rd party having anything to do with the build. Back in the day coupes would be shipped to be converted into convertibles, but those days are long over. Is there a chance this is a leather skin job on a base car?

I think anything not "mainstream" goes to the custom shop -- still at Flat Rock but not officially the regular assembly area. Kind of like a subcontractor working on site. I vaguely remember this happening in 2010 with my 2011 too.

Just got home from the dealer. I'm loving my GT! I'll have some pictures tomorrow, but realized while driving home that I didn't give them my X-plan PIN. I got the x-plan discount ect but found that to be odd. Papers are signed so guess it don't really matter.

Here she is guys!! My wait is finally over and this car is awesome!! Fit/Finish and panel alignment is good, and this car drives amazing. Very happy I went with Guard! For all you guys still waiting, this car is so worth the wait!! Hang in there.

Cotus pushed me back again but only by a day. Even with the delay I should have it for the weekend!

Mine is supposedly at the dealer. I had to call them.

My dealer told me they had an EDD of 4/25, but it has not arrived yet. COTUS still shows awaiting shipment with no EDD.

So I'm still awaiting shipment as well... Going on 4 weeks now. I looked at fords inventory and found one that is exactly what I want ordered a month after mine, built 4/16 and is in transit with 15 days to delivery... I'm pissed so if mine doesn't ship today I'm going to cancel my original order and pick up the other one from a different dealer. So ridiculous... Anybody know if I can get my $500 deposit back?

Yes you can get your deposit back. I just got mine today. Am looking for other options now, sadly. Some dealers need to understand how important transportation is.

Well my case was escalated this morning as well so I'm just waiting to hear back from ford about what's going on.

Got "the call" today...
Cannot take delivery until tomorrow, but they let me take it out for a shakedown run. Oh man what a ride! All the body panels are spot on and the rear window is straight and true.
