Congrats! I'm really happy to hear you like the Guard/Saddle combination: I ordered the same car but in Ecoboost PP and I haven't seen an example of dark saddle yet (other than photos), or Guard for that matter.

This almost seems common! I ordered guard only seeing it on a fusion and only saw the first guard mustang in person in FL last week. I do like the dark saddle interior but I couldn't get past the patchwork (varsity jacket) application of color. If the whole seat, and not just the seating surface, was brown I would have stuck with it.

This almost seems common! I ordered guard only seeing it on a fusion and only saw the first guard mustang in person in FL last week. I do like the dark saddle interior but I couldn't get past the patchwork (varsity jacket) application of color. If the whole seat, and not just the seating surface, was brown I would have stuck with it.

That was my issue with the ceramic in the Ruby Red... so I went with Ebony. At least the fronts match the backs. I think Ford messed this one up.

Took Delivery today! it's sitting in the driveway but it's too dark to take a pic.
here is the one the dealer sent this morning.

I know there are no issues with the week as a whole. I would also doubt the claim that Ford has a hold on your car. If they were to hold a car it would be done before being marked okay to ship. Once it's on a train it's been deemed okay to sell.
Cars going 'my way' get loaded at Flat Rock and sent by train to a depot in NY where they are loaded on car carriers (or expedited if the dealer is going white glove) and delivered to the dealerships. That stage of the process adds complexity as the carriers have to be loaded according to their route and that may have you waiting at the depot for a few days until they have space on a carrier going to your dealer.

Good news - Jeff from Ford Service was able to clarify that there is no hold on my car from Ford, it is just a shipping delay. What a relief!! Now I just have to wait a little longer......
