Build Week 2/9/15

Well, got a nice little surprise tonight. The car finished production yesterday and moved into "Awaiting Shipment" this morning. Checked around lunch and my EDD moved from 2/19 to 2/13 as the car moved to in-transit. I was stopped at a red light near the dealer and thinking about it being only a three hour drive from Flat Rock.... the car was sitting in the back of the lot, so I got my first look at it tonight .

I know the dealer wants it gone as soon as possible. but with the weather as cold as it is right now with snow likely, it might be a week or so.

uh! checked again my EDD is moved back to 2/27, was 2/26.

Mine went from "Awaiting Shipment" yesterday to "In Transit" with an updated EDD of 2/27 from 3/2. Now it has reverted back to "Awaiting Shipment" with no EDD...:doh:

Has anyone else seen this?

I've been in awaiting transit since the 11th and my EDD moved to 3/3 yesterday, was 3/2. REALLY want my car in February. Crossing fingers...

I wonder if yours was part of the screw up from the previous week. It might be on hold with the build week 2/2 cars.

Countdown is now in the single digits! Can't believe she'll actually be here next week -- assuming EDD holds. Dealer says his info shows next week, as well, so I'm feeling optimistic.

Is it just me or do we have fewer people posting as part of this build week? :shrug:

Anyway, my car has been sitting at the dealership since Thursday, but it's been too cold and snowy to drive it. Hopefully I can catch a break on Saturday to drive it and get the paperwork done to bring her home.

On a sadder note, the Cobra I've had for the last 11 years was sold and taken away. At least a know the guy has plans to fix it up and perhaps throw a turbo on it.

It's not just you. Seems like very few people are part of the 2/9 build week for whatever reason. I wish there were more of us -- would help the time pass faster.

I know what you mean about mixed emotions letting go of a beloved car. My 2007 has been a part of my life for eight years. I drove across the state of Tennessee to get it -- I had to have a black California Special convertible, and my husband indulged. I'll miss that car.

But I'm excited about my new one -- time for new memories. Now she just has to get here!

I'm showing "In Transit" with an estimated delivery date of 14 days = March 4th!
