As I mentioned on the other thread, if you have not gotten an update from you dealer in the past 4 days or so, I'd REALLY be curious if you call now and get word that you are in the 2/2 week's build now. If so ask specifically what he means about (if new) dates he shares. :eyebulge:

I have only called my dealer twice since 1/5 order. Unfortunately for you all, I have been obsessively posting here. :eyebulge:

I heard from Rachel this A.M. She confirmed that my build week remains at the week of 2/23, not a miraculous move up to this week that I thought I was gleaning from other's with similar VIN dates. I'm just hoping (finger's crossed) it comes in a bit early by 3/13, because we are driving to the Monterey coast that week end for a wedding. My dealer is guessing 3/16 'week'. :(

OK, so counting chicken, hatching...
What does EDD usually mean?
1) Dealer gets car 1 or more days before to prep/ some fudge time included so EDD can be usually be made?
2) Date delivery truck from Benicia (train hub) is scheduled to arrive at dealer?
3) Very loose aproximation of transit time from Flat Rock via train across country to Benicia, then via truck to South Bay dealer (Sunnyvale Ford)?
4) Other.

EDD is estimated date of delivery. It usually means when the vehicle is either at the dealership or in the destination state.

My Blend (build day) is today. 2/3/15. The car has been "In Production" for a while now.
Can anyone tell me about how long before I might be seeing it move to "Awaiting Shipment"? Keeping in mind that the actual build DAY is today.

I just got my Build/Blend date confirmed to be 2/23 by Rachel. I will be very interested in the nitty gritty details of timing into and thru the build day as Mike is asking... but I'll wait 3 weeks to 'truly' obsess about it.:ford:

how did you get that? Did you fill out an online form? How long did it take to get?

Yes, requested a brochure online. There are a few threads on here about the process. I think it took 2-3 weeks.
