Agreed, mine is still sitting in a rail yard as well. Ford has been very inconsistent in the information it has provided to the Dealers. :frusty:

But yet mine is sitting in a train yard in Maryland and won't be picked up by a truck because of a delivery hold lol. Doesn't make sense . It would make complete sense if it were still sitting at the plant.

It's absolutely ridiculous at this point and demonstrates a lack of care for the Customer.

My dealer told me that a bunch of "frozen" cars were being sent to them from the rail yard. It isn't clear if my car was one of them or if they could even do anything with them once they had them.

Makes me think the rail yards are pressuring Ford to move the cars.

Mid-late November. Worst case early December. The hold lasts about 3 weeks to a month.
Where are you getting this? It's already been a month though .

Last time my car was built on 2/2/15 and released wait for it...........4/1/15 and delivered approx the 21st of April.

Yes 2 1/2 MONTHS from hold to delivery. So as I said before, you guys are wasting your time here. Ford will release them when they'll feel like it.

So I stand by what I said earlier in the thread. Some lucky ones will see theirs before Mid November. The unlucky ones will see their's by Christmas.
Well this sucks. Shoulda waited a week or two to order.. Thanks for your insight, hopefully you're wrong, but I fear you are right.

This is so ridiculous. I can't believe how much they screwed up and won't admit it.

Guys, I may be out. I called my Dealer and he said my car is still in the yard so olla may be right. I located an EcoBoost instead of my V6 with a few more options so I have my Dealer looking into seeing if the car is available.

Well, I think that's the thing. They don't admit that they screwed up because they don't recognize they screwed up. It's just the way they do things, business as usual.

The Ford rep who I talked to last week, called to say she has no new info for me about my order and no idea a bout an ETA. I told her I already cancelled my order, bought a Camaro and that their customer service is terrible. She apologized and said have a nice day

Get out of here with your propaganda!
Sorry, they had specials on 2015's.
Seriously, I love the looks of the Stang, Ford dropped the ball and I chose a different route.
I wish all of you the best!

1LE Camaro is a solid car. Good friend of mine has one. I think his is a 2014? He sold his LS1 and ordered it early in 2013 before anyone really knew what it was. If Ford and Mustangs didn't run so deep in my blood Id have given the Camaro a close look. Enjoy!

2006 GT/ 2016 GTPP on order
You guys think you've been waiting a long time. I originally ordered my 2015 GTPP 5/24; it arrived at the dealership in August with a dent in the fender that required body work, I opted to order a new one instead of taking one with body work. My replacement 2016 GTPP was built 9/29 and is stuck in this mess. I'm told it's made it to a nearby rail yard but based on this thread I assume it won't be released for a while.:frusty:

To say this is frustrating is being too nice. Ford should be embarassed.

Long time Ford fan but this may be enough to push me elsewhere.
