We spent the last three days in St. Augustine, FL. After getting back home, I went into cleaning mode. But I can't seem to get all the bug spots off the front bumper.

If you are successful, how do you do it?

Bug and tar remover works wonders for me and keeping fresh coat of wax on helps prevent it. All it takes with a coat of wax is a quick detail spray and a wipe.

Use a bounce dryer sheet, not too much water....then normal wash after.

If they are love bugs, remove them NOW. They will destroy the paint if left on to long.

My Eclipse needs new paint on the front bumper because the Florida love bugs are so bad.

On topic, try clay barring it if the other stuff won't work. Don't forget to wax afterwards.

No, not the love bugs - thankfully!

Mr. Clean magic erasers work awesome! Don't get too crazy with them, though, because they will take paint off if you scrub in one spot too long. Just get your car and the eraser wet and you're good to go.

Just soap and water here... Just don't let them pile up. Little elbow grease, bug and tar does ok job. Just be aware, paint is soft as it is... Soft bumper is even worse.

Get a bounce fabric softener sheet, wet it, & rub lightly/gently (sounds crazy but it works awesome!). Then follow it up with a normal wash. Best thing for bugs. Period.
