FWIW, in the late 80's I was a die hard Trans Am fan. Had 3 in the span of 84 -92.
74 super duty 455, 84 TA with a TPI 350, and a turbo TA 88. Blew up the rear diff on the last 2.

I had a friend with a Regal T type and then a GN. We used to stomp every Mustang around.
(Staten Island and central Jersey, South avenue drag races)
I vowed never to touch a Mustang that did not have an IRS and at least 400 hp stock.

Took a while, Pontiac died, and couldn't be happier with my 20 GT. And my 16 EB was no slouch.

Good one :)

Around here it's the safest place to park because nobody returns their carts so you're safest next to the cart return than anywhere else in the parking lot. Wish I was joking.

I agree with you. When I park far away from everyone, there is always some jackwagon that parks right next to me. If I park next to the carts. No one does.

I might trash talk other cars but it's all in fun. I think (maybe hope) most car people can appreciate other performance vehicles even if they are made by another company.

I was a big Firebird fan. First one was a 68 400 convertible. Last one was a 97 WS6 TA. Several other nice ones in between. My first pony car was a 65 289 Mustang fastback and I never thought I'd buy another one after that. Everything changes....
