I've noticed more and more lately the car bucks and i hear some slop or chatter from the drive line when downshifting into 1st, or letting the clutch in and out in 1st gear especially less than 2200 rpm. It's hard to describe but it feels and sounds like the driveshaft is accelerating and decelerating really fast and there is alot of play in between it. Before I put the Kenne Bell on Ford said everything is normal and there should be some play in the torsen. Now it has gotten worse even though the car only has 5000 miles on it. I know the clutch needs replacing soon but is there anything else I should look at? To me it seems like there is way to much play in the driveline to be normal.

I'll check it all again. It almost seems like its the play in the couplers. Maybe ill go to a one piece driveshaft. The stock clutch couldn't 700+hp on the dyno. Just babying it until the new one arrives.

Check those bolts that mount the rubber donut to the back of the trans tailshaft. They may be bent, causing some additional play.

There's absolutely no reason at for you to be doing that, this is a total non-problem that you created. It's not the car.

Definitely didn't create an issue from a non problem its been there since day 1 with 10 miles on the car but 3 dealers claimes they cant replicate it. Autocorrect changed the word to downshifting from shifting into 1st and i didnt proof read the post prior to hitting submit.

Example... Backing out of the driveway I stop the car then shift it into 1st . Then if I put the car back into neutrual and let the clutch out you hear and feel the drivetrain slop around. It is even more noticeable in high gear and low rpms. Lightly accelerate at 5% throttle and let off and you hear it slop allmover the place.

Anyways to clear all this up car was at the dealer for the AC EVAP repair this morning and I had the service manager ride with me. I was able to show him the issue again. He informed me he would have his driveline tech look at it instead of.an ordinary technician. A few minutes ago I received a call from him and they are going to replace the torsen and driveshaft under warranty for excessive play. This was after the 4th time I had complained about it since buying the car new. I tooknitnin at 100 miles and was told it needed to break in, at 1500 miles when it got worse, at 4000 miles before i put the Kenne Bell on and then today. I should have preface this by saying I respond to the Ford Viewpoint surveys after each service and left accurate I formation good or bad about the vehicle. I'm notaure if that helped but I'm getting a new diff and driveshaft on a car with a blower.

Picked it up today. Drives nice and doesn't have any issues so far. I'm glad they came through and warrantied it even after a power adder was installed.
