Frustrating as hell!

Broke on it’s own, sometime over the winter in the garage. That was a nice surprise, along with 3 expanding corner panel gaps.

Bummer. Looks like there's a chip in the paint, and a scratch on the rearview camera. Something fall on it?
Nope... just over the winter dirt and dust.

It’s still show quality back there except for a broken snake.

I think mine is on the verge of a break as well. Noticed it yesterday. The upper left is protruding from the black panel. When I push it back in place it is loose.Only a mater of time wtf. When it goes I may opt for the badgeless version under warranty.

I believe a lot of quality corners were cut to make this car less costly...

There is no badgeless version. You can only get the black panel with badge attached whether you need the silver or red badge. Been there the badge is attached to the black panel on two angled corners of badge with looks like some sort of melted hot glue or something. Warranty will replace panel which costs if bought yourself something like around a thousand bucks if I remember right. Then you hope it doesn't happen again after warranty runs out.

It just happened by itself? Really? If that is the case, submit a warranty claim. Let us know how it goes.

The picture you posted appears to have jaggedy edged, aftermarket gray stripes over a silver car. Doesn't appear to match the red R stripes in your avatar. Dunno??

Magnetic has a way of taking on different shades and hues in certain lighting... trust me, it’s the same car.

Sure looks like it got pushed to the side. Do they have pins or anything besides glue? I no pins, why not just use some 3M tape to re adhere it?

Is this no longer an option?https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-16600-MA

So I washed the car today and found the driver's side is completely broken free. Gonna take to the dealer before I lose the badge and see what they say.

Why would you waist your time at the dealer and risk more damages done to your car when you can take off the badge clean it and use 3m black double sided tape to fix it.

Slow down, bro... my trip to the dealer is only to get an appraisal of the situation so that I can get a new panel with emblem under warranty. I am going to see if I can possibly keep the old panel and emblem (doubt it) but we shall see.

Sorry but they won't let you keep the old panel under warranty they have to send it back to Ford. Its a very simple to remove/replace panel. Pull off black rectangular rubber plugs. Take screws out, pull panel off clips. Reverse putting new one on. When you look at new panel you will see what I mean.
