A small zip tie looped through and around will hold it just fine. But if you want it off later you'll have to cut the tie.. no big deal.

So this leads me back to a post I did what frickin tools can you buy to properly undo the clip and then snap them in place. I’ve been using a small screwdriver to remove an Channelocks to snap back in but there must be a proper tool.
No tool necessary. You squeeze the of the clip surface and it opens and releases.

Here is a picture of the clips in the locked position.

I have removed the PCV hose on both my 15 and 17 Ecoboost Mustangs with out using a tool.

Just grabbed my OEM PVC hose out of my parts bin and yes this works. I guess all the CJ and AM videos need to see your post. Thank you for the photo.
