Breaking necks/compliments

I had several yesterday... one a guy held up traffic just to ask if a 2015... people were blowing horns. And then they looked at me (I was turning left) like I knew the guy.

A kid in the parking told his dad "wow, look at that car! Look dad. Look dad". Dad is like "pay attention where you are walking and get in the car." Only problem he did not have a car... he had a people mover.

And had one lady take a picture while driving down the highway (270 going into DC). I'm used to people slowing down or speeding up on the highway now to get an extra look, especially when I have the top down.

Best of all: some guys in our local corvette club gave me the thumbs up when I drove past them... that was cool.

The look of this car as a convertible, I believe, is going to be timeless. The coupe as well though.

Funny thing... hate to say it... but I saw a mustang the other day in my rear view mirror.. ready to take a look as it went past. It was a Ford Fusion!!!

I live in a very popular beach vacation area with tons of bike paths along side of the roads. When ever my son is with me he likes watching the people on the bikes starring as we ride by, he loves saying "just broke his neck". A couple of weeks ago there was a group of about 6 bicycles riding together, the mom and the kids stopped and the dad was on the last bike and ran into the rest of them because he turned to watch as we went by. My son loved it, he's 15 and loves cars.

When I bought the 2015 I gave him the 99 GT. He wants to do some mods but he can't figure out what, he said I've already done everything he likes except a shaker hood.

Just the standard race red 5.0. No exterior mods, except for a tint. Also has a Borla S-type catback.

To be fair, stuff like challengers, camaros, and older mustangs are a dime a dozen in this town. No one bats an eye any more.

Often get "nice car" and thumbs up from random ppl.
A classic cobra flashed his lights at me. Now that was a nice car.
Went on a date and the first thing she said to me was "I love your car" haha

Never had a car before that got attention. Still getting used to it. I used to be invisible.

I had a 2010 Camaro when they first came out and I got compliments on it all the time. I get a lot of compliments on my Mustang too. In fact I just got 2 today while I was wiping it down lol.

had xpel ultimate installed on my bumper at a local PPF/tint installer. They are sole sourced to do installs for a local Ferrari dealer. They said they really liked the new stang even though they see ferraris and all kinds of exotics day in and hout

The compliments seem to have slowed down a little, as expected; I assume because these are everywhere now, at least in San Diego. I notice some people looking at it in parking lots when walking by it, but not nearly as enthusiastically as back in November/December. Sheesh, you'd think you were driving an exotic then.:headbonk:

I was doing a quick wipe down today and I had 3 people walk up to talk to me about the car, 1st was a mid 50s man talking about how beautiful it was and how he was thinking about getting out of his Mercedes and into a new Mustang, the second were two ladies who just had a bunch of questions... big engine? two seats? who makes it? two seats only for you? haha

This car gets crazy attention!

I tend to break my own neck looking at my car everytime i park my car at the park and ride bus stop to work.

But yes this car gets a lot of compliments....broke a few necks today. Cant blame them.

My wife and i walked out of Academy Sports Friday and found the girl parked next to us taking pics of our car with her cell phone. She said "Oh, this is YOUR car!? Lucky!" lol
