Braum Seats

Coming up short trying to find info on these, anyone have any experience with them. Any opinions?

They're inexpensive, I may go for a set just to give them a try. Wanted to try and dig a bit before buying.

My question with these aftermarket seats is; how do the airbags work?

Not only are you losing the side airbags in the seats, you are losing the vehicle's ability to take the weight of the person in the seat for airbag deployment speed. You can use a resistor to shut off the airbag light, but I'm guessing that the resistor determines airbag speed.

I'd need a ton more information before I installed aftermarket seats for the street and planned on keeping my airbags. It could be a big safety concern.

Thank you for the input. This is why i need forums, I don't think about these kinds of things myself. I will try and find information about the airbags, and post if it's anything other than above.

Don't have them but have sat in a few different models and they are very comfortable, and the owners loved them.

This guy showed an install video. Part 2 of the video, he took the sensor out for the passenger seat and put it on the braum seat.

I've driven over 10,000 longgg road trip miles with our Braum Racing seats installed and I absolutely love them. They are surprisingly comfortable for a race seat.

Far better than our OEM base seats, that's for sure.
