I think I saw something on this but can't find it now. Is there a TSB regarding brakes squeaking ? I have the V6, but I get a squeak in the mornings when I go to work. I've only got 10k miles on the car so its not my fault.. Anyone have a similar problem or know about this bulletin?

There is a TSB for early production GT's and EcoBoosts with PP. I haven't seen anything for the V6 cars, but contact user Ford Customer Service here on the forums.

My service advisor says there's a TSB. Taking it in next Saturday. Says it's not a big deal

Had the TSB done on my car last month - they swap out the front rotors & calipers, real simple and it's an instant fix for the squealing.

I held out until 10,500 miles, then had it done. Free pads and rotors for a year?
Priceless!

Good luck. I have NON PP Ecoboost and my brakes have been squealing for about 10k miles. Brought it in about 5 times and they say it's normal.

Let us know if it gets resolved.

I have a 2015 ecoboost PP and they squeal like a pig everytime I first start to drive it. I asked the dealer and he said it was normal. It's embarrassing. All my neighbors see I have a never car and comment on the brake noise. I am calling the dealer again tomorrow now I see there is a TSB. Thanks

I have a 2016 Mustang GT made somewhere in October/November and I am experiencing brake squeaking in the morning (only in the morning). I can deal with this because it's mainly just backing up out of my driveway...but anyone else experiencing this with a 2016 made late this year?

They replaced my pads and rotors today. So far they are ok but my others didn't do it immediately either.

A brake squeal that occurs only when the brakes are cold is normal. It's caused by cold friction compounds, moisture/humidity, and slight surface rust that builds up on the bare rotor friction surfaces as the car sits. If the noise goes away as soon as it's warm, there is nothing wrong with the brakes. They are operating as designed.

Mine always squeak, regardless of temperature - but it's deemed normal by them regardless, which is a crock.

Honestly about to just replace the rotors and pads myself if they're going to be a PITA about it. I've mentioned it every time I've brought it in for service so far.

Tell them about the TSB. Mine were replaced without any issues at all.
